Sekisui Polymatech Europe B.V. (SPE) is located in Roermond and is part of Sekisui Polymatech Co. Ltd., which in turn is part of Sekisui Chemical Co. Ltd, the Japanese chemical company. Sekisui Polymatech Co. Ltd. currently has six production plants located in China, the USA, Thailand, Indonesia, Japan and The Netherlands. Worldwide several products are manufactured like waterproof complex moulding solutions, vibration and shock control solutions, thermal interface materials, elastomeric connector products and input device as well as wearable solutions.

In the plant located in Roermond the thermal interface materials are produced. The organisation consists out of four departments: Administrative Department, Production Department, Quality Assurance Department and the Sales & Marketing Department.

At Sekisui Polymatech Europe, you contribute directly to developing and strengthening the sales business in Europe.
You focus on winning first projects with OEMs and Tier-1 customers in the EV and Energy Storage Systems market and then expanding a sustainable sales pipeline.
The role offers high autonomy, strong technical support from local teams and HQ, and the stability of an established Japanese company — combined with the challenge of working in challenging market entry situations

The Sales manager is responsible to realize commercial potentials into new and existing business in the thermal interface materials segment. With a strong focus on new customer acquisition and building long‑term partnerships, in order to meet and exceed sales targets.
This is a new position, due to growth, you work in a hybrid way with frequent visits to the location in Roermond. Your customers and prospects are located in Europe.

You will report to the General Manager Sales & Marketing, Peter Hasch and will be supported by your internal sales & engineering colleagues (Roermond and HQ).

Functie:
Within this job there are the following focus areas:

•Preparing the sales forecast for the assigned area;
•You maintain existing contacts but also actively seek new opportunities in the market;
•Identifying, developing and converting new business opportunities, including proactive promotion of the SEKISUI (TIM) portfolio to potential customers;
•Initiating projects regarding new application for current products;
•Communicating with customer’s R&D and SEKISUI engineers concerning possibilities of new applications for current products;
•Analyzing global sales data to identify trends, opportunities and required commercial actions, and providing clear insights for decision-making;
•Establishing key relationships with customers to ensure a maximum level of exposure and increase revenue potentials;
•Staying up-to-date with respect to technology trends and developments within the area of expertise.

Functie-eisen:
•Completed higher professional education (HBO), preferably technical and/or commercial;
•Minimum of 6–8 years of international BtoB sales experience in technical products/materials (automotive and or energy is a plus);
•Experience with thermal interface materials, electronics, chemicals or advanced materials is a strong advantage;
•Proficiency in English and German, Dutch is a plus;
•Willing to travel within Europe (40–60%) and adaptable to different cultures;
•Experience with SAP is a pre
•Customer-oriented and proactive, working from a partnership mindset;
•Commercially driven with technical knowledge or affinity.
•Strong communicator with convincing presentation skills.
•Takes initiative and is willing to be critical;
•Structured and results-oriented sales professional.

€5151,- ~ €7754,- gross salary per month with an attractive bonus scheme. This includes a fixed year-end bonus (5%).
