EH & S Officer (32 - 38 hours/week)

In this job you will support the site/EDC (European Distribution Centre) and the Managing Director with his team, you will advice the management team. You will maintain and improve SNA business processes with the ISO standards, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and SOX policies.
On daily basis you closely work together with the local MD in Helmond, with a dotted line to the Global safety director, Ruben Garcia, located in Spain.

Functie:
Environment:

•Establish and maintain an annual energy saving plan;
•Annual preparation and risk analysis of environmental aspects, register, prioritize, action and execute;
•EDC contact for ISO 14001 and auditor.

Health:

•Identifying risks, set up documented risk analyses with appropriate execution of solutions/ training;
•Chair the BHV, identifying risks, set up documented risk analyses with appropriate execution of solutions/ training;
•Proactive annual scheduling of training with HR, HR will have the overview function and documenting on staff level;
•Provide the needed training material and execute (corporate) training;
•Proactive schedule availability of staff to attend training in corporation with EDC MT;
•EDC contact for ISO 45001and auditor.

Safety:

•Leadership and Maintenance of Safe working places, e.g. Arbo, identifying Safety and Workplace risks, set up documented risk analyses with appropriate execution of solutions/ training;
•Proactive Elmeri tours and on the spot registration of open items, identifying risks, set up documented risk analyses with appropriate execution of solutions/ training;
•Act as prevention officer for the complete Helmond site.

In this role, you will report to the Managing Director, Stef Smits, in Helmond.

Functie-eisen:

•Bachelor degree with working experience on a medior/senior level;
•Degree in safety (f.e. MVK or equal);
•Affinity with international DC processes;
•Proven knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001);
•Certified ISO auditor;
•Experienced with BHV;
•Strong in both written and spoken English and Dutch;
•As a person analytical, flexible, strong communicator, eager to learn and strong motivator towards your colleagues regarding EHS issues.

Functieaanbod:
SNA Europe offers new colleagues a one year contract, with the intention for a permanent contract.

We offer the following employment conditions:
•A starting salary of up to €5000 gross per month, based on a 38-hour workweek;
•8% Holiday allowance;
•13th month;
•A variable bonus of 7.5%;
•Travel costs, starting from the first kilometer, at €0.23 net per kilometer, up to a maximum of 50 kilometers one way (max. 100 km return per day);
