Within Sekisui S-lec B.V., located in Roermond (225 FTE), PVB interlayer film plant, we are looking for an:
Assistant Manager Logistics (1 FTE)
Sekisui S-LEC produces her own raw materials in Geleen, (located at Chemelot site). These raw materials are shipped to all S-LEC plants worldwide under which our plant in Roermond, where we produce our PVB interlayer film.
This film is applied to laminated glass in buildings and automobiles. It is used for safety and security (no scattering of glass upon impact) and shielding of UV-radiation, sound and heat. Sixty years of continuous improvement of our glass interlayer technology have made us the leading brand for PVB interlayer film in the automotive industry.
Functie:
As an Assistant Logistics Manager you make an important contribution to achieving the goals set in the department plan. 25 FTE are working at our logistics department.
•You collect and analyze logistics information, identify (ad-hoc) bottlenecks and propose realistic solutions;
• You monitor the progress of the processes using KPIs to monitor costs and efficiency;
•You ensure the continuity of all logistics processes within the organization. This includes storage (internal and external) and inventory management with associated planning and administration;
•You are also responsible for all transport movements through land, sea and air freight, including customs-related matters;
•All rework activities (Rewind/Repack) are also your responsibility;
•You are passionate about promoting a safe and healthy work environment, ensuring environmental compliance and minimising the risks associated with complex legislation.
You will report to Ron van Kessel, Manager Logistics, whom you will replace during his absence
Functie-eisen:
•You have at least a completed HBO education, for example Logistics Management;
•Candidates with other education at HBO level, such as Business Administration or Industrial Engineering in combination with concrete and relevant work experience in logistics, are also invited to respond;
•You have demonstrable experience as a manager and are familiar with working with ERP systems (SAP is a pre);
•You are proficient in the English language, just like with the Microsoft Office package.
•You speak Dutch (mandatory);
•As a person you are a strong communicator at all levels, pro active, analytically strong and you easily take the lead;
•We are primarily looking for a candidate who has the potential to eventually grow into a management position.

A permanent position, starting with a contract for 1 year with the intention for a permanent contract.
A salary indication between € 3981 and € 5573,- gross a month.
There are flexible working hours. Amongst the conditions of employment are 25 vacation days and 11,5 ATV days, 5% year-end bonus, € 0,23 /km. travel allowance, company bonus (0-4%), a non-sick bonus of €350 net per year, good pension and a lot of possibilities for training and development.
An assessment will be part of the procedure.
